A: Anywhere is a great place to begin, really. To avoid the crowds, it might be best to begin at an area furthest away and work your way back home from there.

 

Q: How do I know which sites are part of the official Spoon River Valley Scenic Drive?

A: Look for the red logo! This logo was designed by famed local artist Harold Kee Welch in the late 1960s, just as the SRVSD was getting established. All sites that have contributed to the drive will showcase the red logo.

 

Q: What’s another way to learn more about the region?

A: Fulton County has several museums which are the preservers of both the natural and modern history of this amazing area. Here is a list  to choose from if you’d like to visit a location to learn more.
